And since it’s just a symbol, it can only stand for so many religions at one point without becoming cluttered and devaluing the greater point. a symbol is something that represents something greater. to symbolize all the food in the world, for example, it would be impossible to have a picture of every goddamn food in the world, but you can symbolize it by representing common foods in several countries across the world. When it comes to the symbol, be less literal. When it comes to the meaning, be more abstract. ^ that is a bloody perfect answer.
